More about the festival →ARTISTS 2027
We will announce the artists for Finnsnes i Fest 2027 one by one.
When Amund Zimmermann brings the whole band, you can expect a genuine musical experience with real, organic instruments and live vocals! The Sandefjord native writes everything from dreamy, sentimental ballads to rock-flavoured pop songs, which gives his concerts exciting dynamics and progression. Storytelling is at the heart of the 24-year-old's artistry, and it shows clearly in both his lyrics and his performances.
In the summer of 2022 he broke through on TikTok with his acoustic guitar versions of well-known and much-loved Norwegian ballads. He made his debut in November 2022 with the single “Månen”, which was on NRK P1's A-list for no less than 16(!) weeks. Since his debut, Zimmermann has released audience favourites such as “Ta med deg døra”, “Ole Lukkøye”, “Griper etter halmstrå” and the debut album “In medias res”.
In the spring of 2025 the newcomer went on his first tour of Norway, playing Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen, Sandefjord, Stavanger, Kongsberg and Moss, received excellent reviews and sold out several of the concerts. The fantastic band and Zimmermann's impressive delivery bring both sing-alongs and tears: this is a show you do not want to miss!
Four good friends with guitars. “The Hallelujah gang”, if you like. Or simply Espen Lind, Kurt Nilsen, Alejandro Fuentes and Askil Holm. In 2027 they are back together, 20 years after four voices and four guitars created one of the biggest Norwegian music phenomena of the 2000s.
It is 20 years since a legendary TV performance sent the whole of Norway into collective goosebumps mode. When the quartet performed “Hallelujah” on NRK's Først & Sist with Fredrik Skavlan, interest exploded almost overnight.
What started as a friendly musical collaboration quickly grew into a phenomenon. The albums topped the charts, the concerts sold out, and audiences were swept away by the unique combination of four strong voices, musical virtuosity, warmth, humour and an interplay that is hard to construct, and even harder to copy.
“Hallelujah” was named Hit of the Year at the Spellemann Awards, and Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes, Holm had truly become part of Norwegian music history.
When the four reunited in 2019, it happened again, with new records and clear proof that the magic between them had not lost a single ounce of its power.
And the interest is at least as great today.
When the first anniversary concert at Oslo Spektrum was announced before the summer, it sold out in no time. An extra concert was added, and tickets for that one have been selling fast too.
In 2027 Lind, Nilsen, Fuentes and Holm are once again ready to meet audiences around the country.
On stage, the songs audiences love are waiting, along with four of Norway's most distinctive voices, stories, laughter, nostalgia and new surprises. And of course the moments when thousands of people sing along as if it were still 2006.
Because some things really do only get better with age.
Like good friends. Good songs. And four men with guitars who still know how to get an entire audience to shout:
HALLELUJAH!
From underground artists to streaming success, Ballinciaga have redefined Norwegian pop music since 2023. With their distinctive pink balaclavas, the group have left a unique mark on Norwegian music history.
What started as a russ music project (music for the Norwegian school-leavers' celebrations) quickly grew into a national phenomenon. Ballinciaga have systematically built their success through a string of hits that have dominated the streaming services, such as “Loud Luxury 2022”, “Beklager”, “Dans på bordet” and the latest releases “Sigg” and “AYT”. 2022 was particularly significant: “Dans på bordet” was named the most streamed song in the Nordic countries, and Ballinciaga themselves topped the charts as Norway's most streamed artist.
The group's artistic significance was further confirmed by nominations for both P3 Gull and the Spellemann Awards in 2022. The same year they entered the public debate when they took part in NRK's “Debatten” on the russ celebrations and russ music, showing that their influence reaches far beyond the music scene.
What particularly characterises Ballinciaga is their ability to combine catchy melodies with energetic live performances. From TikTok sensations to headliners at the country's biggest festivals, they have proven that their appeal transcends both age groups and musical tastes. With their masked performances they have created a mysterious image that has helped strengthen their position as one of Norway's most innovative and exciting music projects.
